As my mind ponders into the magnificent world of Tribal Belly Dancing I think of amazing music, dances and of course makeup! I see beautiful woman with electrifying eyes gyrating their hips to the beat of beautiful ethnic music. I went ahead recreated a makeup look inspired by western tribal belly dancers. It is a very easy yet dramatic look that goes a very long way.

The look consists of 2 shades of eyeshade that go hand in hand for example I used a matte blue on the lid and a shimmery aqua to blend around the crease of the eye also keep in in mind that you may use any color palette that compliments your skin tone or costume. I went ahead and used drug store brand eye shadow added some blush, mascara and lip color and completely transformed my entire face and I really did feel like I was a sultry belly dancing diva ready to hit the stage and perform, remember that when you look the part you feel the part. Let’s have fun with makeup instead of dreading having to think that makeup should look perfect. Makeup is a form of art and you can never go wrong so release your inner belly dancing ego and join in the fun.

Makeup is just makeup up until you let your creativity emerge, its then when it becomes an absolute work of art.
