Veils and Cymbals add a dramatic effect to a performance. Have you ever been to a performance where even though the dancer’s technique was about ‘average’  that the audience was blown away by the beauty of the flowing veils? Cymbals require a lot of talent. A dancer that can do the three-quarter-shimmy and play the cymbals at the same time is a certified professional dancer in my eyes.
