I have been dancing for 48 years and belly dancing for 10. I have not faced any challenges becoming a dancer, but now at age 51, I face some challenges keeping my place as a leader in the Mexican belly dance community and in the world at large as a dancer. Audiences just don’t want to see 51-year-old dancers.
Belly Dance Classes
I teach Fat Chance Belly Dance style ATS and have been teaching for 7 or 8 years.
Performances
I perform throughout Mexico, both ATS and Tribal Fusion belly dance. My fusion is Tribal and Modern Dance. Too many to tell here. One of my favorite stories is the time I forgot to pack underwear in my costume bag.
