I have been dancing since the age of five, but fell in love with belly dance in 1992. I have always loved the music and rhythms of the Middle East. Once I began learning the dance, I became so immersed in it, what started as a hobby ended up as my vocation. I love the expressiveness, intricacy, fluidity and power of belly dance, and the fact that a belly dancer is never “finished” learning – there are always deeper layers to aspire to, and it is a dance form that can be enjoyed for many years.
I have been performing professionally since 1994. I have danced regularly in many restaurants, and was the head dancer at Caspian in Irvine for several years. I have done many stage performances, belonged to two award winning dance companies, and presented my own dance company in two prestigious IAMED productions, which are internationally available on DVD. I also appear as a soloist on the IAMED DVDs “Belly Dance Rocks”, and “Belly Dance Sensations”. |

| I teach what is known as modern or classical Egyptian style belly dance, which is an elegant, fluid style of belly dance, while at the same time dynamic and exciting. I teach all levels, from beginning level to advanced and performance level classes. My group classes run in 6-week sessions throughout the year. | |
