Mina

Background
goldbest

Mina comes from an Armenian-Persian family and her dance exposure began at age 8 with Anna Djanbazian studying Armenian Folk Dance and Ballet. In early 2003, she saw Tina Enheduanna perform at Le Diplomat and fell in love with the beauty the dance. Immediately she knew that was what she wanted to do. She started studying right away with Angelika Nemeth and is still a part of her dance company. She has also studied for many years under noted Persian dance artist, Dr. Robyn Friend.

Dance Classes
Mina took bits and pieces from each teacher she learned from and uses those techniques with her students. She closely monitors the students and will go at their pace. If she can see that someone is stuck or frustrated or just doesn’t get it, she will explain it in other ways or even physically place her body where it needs to be. Her style focuses on the Egyptian Cabaret style and incorporates the beauty of Persian style arms. She also teaches Persian dance and has taught ages 4 and up.
