My dance background began at age two with tap, ballet, and tumbling. I have been dancing ever since, trying different styles such as modern, jazz and hula. I discovered this dance while in High School at a student recital and was in class the following week. It is the joy of creative movement and expression that keeps me passionate about this dance. I am also a professional make up artist and have applied that skill to Belly Dance. I have also won the Best Make Up Award for 2008 on the Channel 10 A-List. |

| I have been teaching for over 15 years. My students learn how to express themselves and show their personalities. I show effective techniques for adding flair and drama to the dance. My classes are based on proper dance technique with a strong emphasis on fun. I have a broad background in dance, and emphasize technique and alignment with every movement. My classes are lighthearted, encouraging, and everyone gets attention. I teach stage make up for belly dancers as well and carry my own line of cosmetics formulated for the dancer. |  |

I have appeared on TV and in a variety of night clubs and fine dining restaurants. I dance regularly at Marrakesh in La Jolla. I travel internationally to teach workshops on make up and Belly Dance. I believe the dance should be the embodiment of the music and the dancer’s unique personality. My professional career has spanned over 15 years. I have performed for Persian, Egyptian, and Greek audiences. I put my heart and soul into my dance, combining technical precision with warmth and passion. I look forward to every show, the dance feeds me and I always feel my happiest when I am dancing. |
